Pilch & Barnet — Marketing and Public Relations

Austin Hetrick

Public Relations Assistant

Austin Hetrick, Public Relations Intern

What is the best thing about your job at Pilch & Barnet?

I really enjoy the variety of clients we help. Representing and communicating for so many different and unique areas is challenging, but also rewarding. It’s also great to work with such a cohesive and talented team of people!

If you could train your pet to do any one trick, what would it be?

I’ve got about a 20-pound cat at home…so I’d like to train him to greet visitors like a dog: by tackling them. I think it’d also be pretty sweet if I could convince him to put on a Colts helmet on game days (no offense Packer fans).

What book, movie, song, music album or video game do you recommend everyone in the world needs to experience?

Buckley. Jeff Buckley. A bit on the morose and mellow side but definitely worth it. You’ve probably heard his angelic cover of Cohen’s Hallelujah: check out his first album, Grace.

On the book front I’ll put in a plug for a recent find from a relative, David Benioff’s City of Thieves. Read that one in about two days.

What is your favorite website to visit when you have a minute to spare?

I’ll spare you the Colts blogging and go with politico.com. Got to stay up on my political news.

Mac or PC?

Use both, prefer Mac.
